We develop and operate multi-tenant SaaS platforms for institutional use, including School-Core (K-12 school management) and Jeru Vantage (career assessment and guidance).

Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to information collected through vantagetechapps.com — our corporate marketing and informational website. It does not apply to our individual SaaS products, which operate under their own separate privacy policies and data processing agreements:

  • School-Core — governed by the School-Core Privacy Policy and applicable Data Processing Agreements with subscribing schools.
  • Jeru Vantage — governed by the Jeru Vantage Privacy Policy, which addresses the collection and processing of student assessment data.

If you are a student, parent, teacher, or school administrator using one of our products, please review the privacy policy for that specific product.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Contact form submissions: When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and any message content you choose to include.
  • Direct email correspondence: If you email us, we retain your email address and the content of your communications to respond to your inquiry.
  • Demo or partnership requests: If you inquire about a demonstration or business partnership, we collect contact details and any information you share about your organization.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, referral sources, and navigation paths within the Site.
  • Device and browser data: Browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution, and general device category.
  • Country-level location: We may infer general geographic location (country or region) from your IP address for analytics purposes. We do not collect or store precise geolocation data.
  • Log data: Server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages requested. These are used solely for security, debugging, and infrastructure monitoring.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect payment card information, social security numbers, government ID numbers, health information, or any other sensitive personal data through this Site. We do not build advertising profiles or track you across other websites.

Data Retention

  • Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized; retained indefinitely as it cannot be used to identify individuals. Raw session data is purged after 12 months.
  • Server logs: Retained for up to 90 days for security and infrastructure purposes, then deleted.
  • Business records: Financial and contractual records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with US tax and accounting requirements.

Upon your request, we will delete or anonymize personal information we hold about you, unless we are required by law to retain it.

International Transfers

VantageTech Apps, LLC is based in the United States. If you are accessing this Site from outside the United States — including from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, India, or other jurisdictions — please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at contact@vantagetechapps.com and we will delete it promptly.

Note: Our product Jeru Vantage is designed for student use and is governed by its own COPPA- and FERPA-compliant privacy policy. Schools and institutions must agree to applicable Data Processing Agreements before deploying that product.

Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
  • Encryption at rest for stored personal information.
  • Access controls limiting who can view personal information to employees and contractors with a business need.
  • Regular security reviews of our hosting and infrastructure.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.
